sober 04:20
I love it when you leave in the morning with your bad excuses just stick around why do you put on this act you're so predictable and I know you too Well now truth is I hate it when you leave in the morning if you're shy we've got some common ground when you're drunk you fake your self esteem somehow you only like me when you're drunk you only like me when you're too drunk to stand up you only like me when you're free I won't beg you to pay attention to me seems to me that we're never gonna make it cause you're never ever sober honestly I can't ask how you feel because you're still hungover when you're drunk you know that you'll want me but when the night is over sad to see you're so cowardly the next day when you're sober I don't ask for a lot but when you give it I won't never never get enough because you have such strong walls built up I don't think I'm ever giving up because you've got so much potential and I want to get to know it think under all the bad jokes you're real and I want you to show it you only like me when you're drunk you only like me when you're too drunk to stand up you only like me when you're free I won't beg you to pay attention to me seems to me that we're never gonna make it cause you're never ever sober honestly I can't ask how you feel because you're still hungover when you're drunk you know that you'll want me but when the night is over sad to see you're so cowardly the next day when you're sober I'm not as scary as I seem you want to act like you're not keen but I'm too old to play your games and I'm too young to wait for players you only like me when you're drunk you only like me when you're too drunk to stand up you only like me when you're free I won't beg you to pay attention to me seems to me that we're never gonna make it cause you're never ever sober honestly I can't ask how you feel because you're still hungover when you're drunk you know that you'll want me but when the night is over sad to see you're so cowardly the next day when you're sober

proud 04:33
do I make you proud? do I put your mind at ease? with all I do not to fool you do I make you proud? do I put your mind at ease? with the craziness that is my life and life's not fair, but I've got you on my side to dust me off when life beats me down and I've not been fair, I've been breaking your heart making a mess since I was born and it's been tough since day one but your love alone has gotten me this far do I make you proud? do I put your mind at ease? with all I do not to fool you do I make you proud? do I put your mind at ease? with the craziness that is my life do I make you proud? and it's been tough since day one but your love alone has gotten me this far do I make you proud? do I put your mind at ease? with all I do not to fool you do I make you proud? do I put your mind at ease? with the craziness that is my life do I make you proud? do I make you proud?

faking sleep just to rest your eyes saw you napping at the back of the bus it's common knowledge that we're all so tired but your eyes just kept on falling shut pint of lager at your local, hits right weren't planning for any outburst they say the summer only lasts for a while but in the north, we make the best of what we've got and at the ibis hotel, all of the blinds they were fastened shut I'm sure they couldn't stand a sense of looking on out in the field at the back of the town, they put up a gesture just to make you feel better just goes to show you should always treasure those moments that we have together in a moment it'll be just fine I saw the fear creep on up your face we gotta learn to make the most of these times for every moment draws us back to a place where we could all be swimming in wine a cigarette, a campfire, oh it's bliss down the cusp of a dirty mountainside brought us closer to the ones that we now miss and at the ibis hotel, all of the blinds they were fastened shut I'm sure they couldn't stand a sense of looking on out in the field at the back of the town, they put up a gesture just to make you feel better just goes to show you should always treasure those moments that we have together hush now, friend. take us back to a time that we love take my hand, we'll be back in the pub soon enough

millennials 03:17
don’t judge my number, judge my actions you never know I could make things happen but you couldn’t take that risk on me you saw my number and that’s my identity but what do I know? I am young after all oh millennials we don’t get a say, we don’t have what it takes cause we’ve got it easy do the rent prices change, do they go up with age I’m so sorry I don’t fit your society we are ready for change and you’re just in our way don’t you dare try to dismiss me these points are valid, come back to reality this will effect me more than you wouldn’t you think that I had more to lose but what do I know? I am young after all oh millennials we don’t get a say, we don’t have what it takes cause we’ve got it easy do the rent prices change, do they go up with age? I’m so sorry I don’t fit your society we are ready for change and you’re just in our way we are not too young, we know what’s going on don’t push us aside, we’re on the rise you’ve had your turn and now it’s our time but what do we know? we are young after all oh millennials we don’t get a say, we don’t have what it takes cause we’ve got it easy do the rent prices change, do they go up with age? I’m so sorry I don’t fit your society we are ready for change and you’re just in our way we’ve got something to say so listen its not too late.

sweat it out 02:28
scratching at my arms, tearing out my hairs wondering whether it's okay to feel scared steam fills the room, preparing to dive why is it songs about death that make me feel so alive? I've taken the plunge, tentative steps leave a paper trail to follow in case things don't work out yet am I doing my best? have I figured it out? what can I do for now except sweat it out? I've walked for a while to some new corner of town imagined us watching the sun going down are we looking the best? have they figured us out? what can we do for now but sweat it out? set myself on fire just to watch the embers fall to the ground (we all burn down) I've been crawling in circles for quite some time I'm gonna figure it out 'til then I'll sweat it out I got drunk in the middle of the day and washed the time away I got drunk in the middle of the day and I missed you more than words could ever say

and livin’ is easy with your eyes closed, you just choose what you want to see keep findin’ coffee stains on all my clothes, oh, these caffeine addictions ain’t free and people tried showin’ me the way home, I said just show me the way to the sea I want to drown I want to drown in an ocean of your sounds with depressing lyrical tendencies, we gotta keep on keepin’ on conveying our thoughts and opinions, into a form of popular song and the words you sang were spiralling around my mind, but in a moment they will be gone and I wanna feel the light I want to feel your light surrounding me in eternity I want to drown I want to drown in an ocean of your sounds
